New Release - Version 6.1.1 for CyBlock Appliance Now Available

  • Correction - Secure Sites Using Proxy Server.  A secure sites issue that resulted in some secure sites just spinning in the browser and never loading has been corrected with this maintenance release.

Recent Major Release - Version 6.1.0 for CyBlock Appliance

  • Enhancement - New Look Browser Interface.  New colors and wider screens are some of the interesting new aspects of this release.
  • Enhancement - Dashboard Charts.  Dashboard Charts are available when the Data Manager is enabled in the reporting piece of the appliance. Bar and trend charts are included that cover users, categories, classifications, sites and groups.
  • Enhancement - Safe Search.  We now offer 'safe search' control for three popular search engines.  When enabled in CyBlock, safesearch is enforced regardless of changes made in the search engines themselves.
  • Enhancement - Custom Categories. The ability to add user defined categories has been extended to a limit of 25 from the old limit of 12. You can now delete any or all of the custom categories.
  • Enhancement - Control List.  This release introduces a new URL list (version 6) which is no longer fully stored in memory.  A new 'list cache' system improves URL retrieval speed while also saving approximately 125 MB of your machine's virtual memory.
  • Enhancement - Protocol Monitor.  This release offers a new option that will either "Display Only Known Protocols" or "Display All" protocols in the Protocol Monitor.  By default, the setting is enabled (thus diplaying only known protocols).   Disabling the setting will display everything passing through.
